Beyond The Blocks: Get On With It!

blocksAre you on autopilot? Do you believe, think and do the same ineffective things over and over, and wonder why you don't achieve your goals?  Identify and learn how to overcome barriers to living your best life.

 

The workshop tackles these issues head-on using group and individual exercises combined with interactive discussion. It shows participants how they can develop the mindset, internal belief system and strategies they need to overcome obstacles and become a leader in any area of their lives (e.g. as educators, students, community members, businesswomen, etc.)

You will learn to identify the kind of roles you would like to achieve, the “blocks” that are stopping you from getting there and what you need to do to move forward.

The workshop focuses more heavily on internal blocks (i.e. those over which we have control), and also gives tips and techniques on how to deal with external barriers. It addresses how to break through the blocks, change the patterns that go with them, and create more empowering beliefs that support growth and drive us toward our goals, rather than hold us back.

Specific strategies for changing limiting beliefs include actively listening to one’s self and others to get a true picture of our own strengths and capabilities and using powerful questions to change beliefs and thought patterns rather than just accepting blocks and giving up.
